ON 07/10/2018 EMS WERE CALLED TO THE HOLIDAY INN LOCATED IN BREEZEWOOD FOR A MALE THAT WAS INVOLVED IN AN INCIDENT IN THE SWIMMING POOL. THE MALE WAS REMOVED FROM THE POOL BEFORE EMS ARRIVED. AND CPR WAS PERFORMED ON HIM. EMS TRANSPORTED HIM TO UPMC HOSPITAL. BEDFORD COUNTY CORONER RUSTY STYER WAS CALLED TO UPMC AROUND 11:45 PM TO ANNOUNCE 19 YEAR OLD KAYMON JAMES OF NORFOLK,VIRGINIA DEAD. AN AUTOPSY WILL BE DONE ON JAMES.
On Monday, March 12, 2018 at 3:15 Pm the Bedford County Coroner was called to a farming accident at a farm off of Branch Road in Woodbury Township. Coroner Russell Styer said a 17 year old male was killed when he was changing bucket attachments and became pinned by a skid loader. Coroner Styer ruled the manner of death as an accident and the cause of death was blunt force trauma.

THE BEDFORD COUNTY CORONER WAS CALLED TO A STRUCTURE FIRE AT 3229 ROCK HILL CHURCH ROAD IN EVERETT ON JANUARY 7,2018 AT 1:16 AM. CORONER RUSSELL STYER CONFIRMED 51 YEAR OLD SEAN THOMAS REILLY DIED AS A RESULT OF THE FIRE. AN AUTOPSY WAS PERFORMED ON 01/07/2018

MILLER OF MILLHEIM,PA DEAD AT THE SCENE. AN AUTOPSY IS SCHEDULED. CAUSE AND MANNER OF DEATH ARE PENDING AT THIS TIME
ON 09/10/2017 THE BEDFORD COUNTY CORONER WAS CALLED TO UPMC MEMORIAL HOSPITAL ER FOR A PATIENT THAT WAS INVOLVED IN A MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH. CORONER RUSSELL STYER SAID 77 YEAR OLD JOYCE L. MILLER OF CLEARVILLE DIED FROM INJURIES SUSTAINED IN A MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH ON BLACK VALLEY ROAD IN EVERETT. MANNER OF DEATH WAS RULED ACCIDENTAL.
On August 22, 2017 the Bedford County Coroner was called to a farming Accident on Halls Hill Road, Hopewell Township. At 2:04 PM Bedford County Coroner Russell Styer pronounced Charles W. Clapper, 59 of New Enterprise dead at the scene . Multiple crushing injuries to the torso was the cause of death and manner was accidental.
