REPORTING DAMAGE THAT OCCURRED DURING THE STORM ON 6/22/2022:

The storm that occurred during the evening of 6/22/2022, brought forth heavy rain and wind gusts up to 60 MPH, which have impacted Bedford County.

Alex Delia, the Emergency Management Coordinator for Bedford County, encourages all citizens who experienced severe damage to their living space due to the storm, such as trees downed on homes or flooding which reached the first floor, to contact his office at (814) 623 – 9117. Additionally, it is asked that citizens who experienced severe damage and contact his office, to leave a message which includes their name, address, a call back number, and a brief description of the damage to their property. The County will begin damage assessment dependent on needs.

Bedford County would like to thank the fire, EMS, law enforcement agencies, telecommunicators, and all other entities who respond to emergencies for their continued work providing vital service to residents within the county.
